Battery Management System BMS
All Keheng’s LiFePO4 batteries come with an internal smart BMS.
BMS comes with overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, short circuit, temperature and other detection and balance functions to protect your battery from damage. If the BMS disconnects the battery due to temperature limitations, you must wait for the temperature to drop before reconnecting the battery.
If your device has parasitic loads, you may need to physically disconnect the terminals to reconnect the battery circuit. Note that while short circuit protection protects the cells of the battery, it can still spark and damage your cables or bolts, so it’s best to avoid short circuits.
